Rose Pearl Lychee
Rough, deep red skin and, inside, white, translucent, juicy flesh that tastes of rose, muscat grape and a hint of citrus. Wai Chee is a late variety prized for its sweetness and aroma: a little gem you can peel with your fingers.
Lucía grows it on the Costa Tropical de Granada, one of the few corners of Europe where lychees ripen outdoors. She picks them by hand, cluster by cluster, when the colour is just right, with no cold-store ripening. Eat them as they are, nicely chilled, or add them to fruit salads, cocktails and desserts.
From the field to the box, and from the box to your home. That simple, that authentic.
Rose pearls ripened under the Granada sun: these are Lucía's lychees.
