Our Artisan 'Summer Wonder' lettuce, grown all year round by Clara and her mother on their farm in Xàtiva, is perfect for the hottest months thanks to its resistance to bolting.
This crop benefits from traditional farming methods, including fallowing and crop rotation, which keep the soil healthy and encourage biodiversity. Clara and her mother avoid chemical fertilisers and heavy machinery, preferring to plough the land by hand or with horses and to use natural manure.
They also use aromatic plants to keep pests away naturally, creating a balanced ecosystem that not only improves the flavour and quality of the lettuce but also protects the environment and supports sustainable farming.

My mother and I grow our native "summer wonder" lettuces in Xàtiva using traditional and sustainable techniques, without chemicals and using natural manure and aromatic plants for superior flavor.
