Hello hello,

This week has been tough, with a lot of work, but satisfying because it has allowed us to reach your homes 😊

One of the stars of these days has been the RAF tomato, and why not? This variety is known as one of the best in the world.

The funny thing is that Raf is not a brand, as many people think. Its name comes from "Resistant to Fusarium," a rather pesky soil fungus. That is, this tomato was born to survive... but what no one expected was that it would end up being famous for its spectacular flavor.

And it certainly is. The Raf has that perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, a firm and juicy texture, and such an intense flavor that many consider it directly the best tomato in the world. One of those you eat with a little salt and little else... and you feel so satisfied.

In addition, it is a highly prized and delicate variety to cultivate. It needs very specific conditions and a lot of control from the farmer. That's why it's not a tomato that's mass-produced, and each season is almost a small luxury.

So when you see Raf tomatoes on the Campos del Abuelo website, you know what you have before you: not just a tomato, but a story of resistance that ended up becoming pure flavor. And yes... one of those you shouldn't miss. 🍅
