Good morning! How's your morning going?
We're on fire🔥.
Although that's not necessarily a good thing😅…
In fact, today's newsletter is about the heat and how it affects your box.

Also, we have two big announcements that some lucky ones among you may already know.
I'll tell you about them later, but first, let's talk about what I was telling you about the heat.
As you know, to ensure maximum quality, we ship our products the same day we pick them.
That means less than 24 hours pass from when they're hanging on the tree to when they're in your fruit bowl.
However, with this relentless sun, and without knowing the conditions during shipping, we didn't want to take any risks, and we are going to start sending cold packs with boxes containing delicate products.

And the best part: when you receive your pack, you can put it in the freezer and reuse it.
We've thought of everything; it's a chemical-free gel made with recyclable plastic.
And if you're someone who loves the beach, you'll know there's nothing better during a beach day than a nice cold drink!
At home, we are the type of people who, when we go to the beach for a day, spend the whole day there.
Now it's time for the two big news.
Yes, it's about new products ;)
Want a hint?
They are two gems that we are all familiar with, one could say we are bringing the "cherry on top" that every respectable greengrocer must have👀…
We're talking about Alex's organic cherries and Vicent's organic potatoes.

I dare say these are some of the best cherries and potatoes I have ever tasted.
And if that wasn't enough, both are organic and among the best (if not the best) you'll find in Spain.
But I must tell you, it has been veeery hard to get to this point.
It's not as easy as finding a farmer.
You have to find the right farmer. Someone open to the madness we're creating around Campos Del Abuelo to save our quality agriculture and health.
You have to think about the logistics for each product. Cherries are quite delicate.
We need to forecast your demand, which is not easy with how much we are growing (a thousand thanks from the bottom of our hearts 🥰🥰).
And of course, we couldn't miss, as we say in Valencia, the Caloret (the warmth 😂).
But now, thanks to the cold bags, they will arrive as if freshly picked from the tree 😋.
And you? How do you plan to eat your cherries and potatoes?
I've heard some people put cherries in stews and even in gazpacho… I personally prefer to eat them as dessert, just as they are😅…
And these potatoes, I recommend them fried, or, if you're getting ready for summer, like me (from September onwards hehe), cut them in half, a drizzle of oil and salt, a touch of paprika de la Vera, and into the oven.
When you try them, you'll wish you hadn't followed my advice 🤤.
That's all for today; they're waiting for me in the field to continue with today's harvest.
A big hug
